Each week, we need parents to serve as timers, field monitors and scorebook recorders.

What do these positions do?

• Field monitor or field marshal: Monitors and reports inappropriate behavior during the game, including but not limited to derogatory language, taunting, referee intimidation, swearing, excessive yelling and/or aggressive behavior toward others.
• Scorebook keeper: Keeps the official scorebook and scoreboard for the team during the game, noting ground balls, goals, penalties.
• Spotter: Identifies player goals,  ground balls,  penalties for the scorebook keeper.
• Time Keeper: For home games we keep the official clock for the game and penalties.

Our youth and high school teams all need parents at each game to help with tasks at the scoring table and along the sideline. Serving as a timer or working the scorebook is a great way to learn about the sport of lacrosse!
